New law makes tobacco products tougher for some to access

Gov. Kathy Hochul signed legislation Friday to crack down on tobacco sales.
The new law will make tobacco products less accessible – by banning sales at vending stands and in vending machines in state buildings.
The ban will apply to new leases and contracts with vendors.
