New LGBTQ+ center opening in Albany’s South End

Plans are underway to open a new LGBTQ+ center later this summer in Albany.
The center at 200 Green Street will be run by In Our Own Voices, Inc., an LGBTQ+ organization, celebrating 25 years in the Capital Region. It focuses on supporting people of color within the Capital Region.
The center will offer anti-violence emergency aid, counseling, employment services, HIV, HCV and Hepatitis C testing, youth programming and more.
The hope is to open the center in July or August.
