New pet wellness center opening in Pittsfield

There will soon be an oasis in what some have called a pet care desert in Pittsfield.
Berkshire Humane Society will open a pet wellness clinic in former Allen Heights Veterinary Hospital, report NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle.
After the closure of that hospital last July, pet owners found it difficult to get annual exams or specialty treatment for their pets.
The Berkshire Humane Society is already taking appointments for the wellness clinic, beginning in early March.
