A new restaurant has opened in Coxsackie.

The Day Line Oyster Bar and Restaurant is located in the James Newbury Hotel. It’s run by well-known local restauranteur Dominick Purnomo.

The restaurant is named after the historic passenger boat company that traveled between New York City and Albany daily.

It features a seafood focused menu with a full raw bar, extensive wine list and specialty cocktails.

Day Line also will feature an expansive rooftop terrace that will be open seasonally.

It offers panoramic views of the Hudson River.

Day Line will be open Thursday through Saturday through the end of the year.
