New Rotterdam community center opens

There’s a new community center for people in Rotterdam.

It’s located at 705 Curry Road.

The grand opening was Sunday.

The project was completed after receiving a grant from the Schenectady Foundation.

The building was previously a church library.

The new Rotterdam Community Center is now open at 705 Curry Road. (WNYT)

It started operating back in June of last year before its recent completion.

It has since served nearly 70,000 meals to people in need.
