The new fire station in Saratoga Springs can begin operating.

The New York State Office of General Services has issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for Fire Station 3.

The city received an award of $4 million to help fund the station last December.

The city says there are still some finishing touches to complete, but the finish line is in sight.
