New urgent care opens in Bethlehem

The need for health care services continues to grow in the Capital Region – and a new privately owned urgent care facility is answering the call in Bethlehem.

MedRite Urgent Care opened in January, but celebrated with a ribbon-cutting in May.

While urgent care facilities are able to assist in many situations, they can’t always replace the emergency department. However, they can help keep emergency rooms available for people in need of more critical care.

The MedRite facility is open seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

They take most insurance, and also have non-insured rates.

Thanks to the Bethlehem Chamber for this submission.
