New York airports given big federal boost
Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand are announcing a big boost to airports across the state.

More than $23 million in federal funding will be given to 13 New York airports.
This funding comes from the Federal Aviation Administration’s airport improvement program.
It will be used to revitalize airports and enhance safety.
The Columbia County airport will be getting more than $300,000 to help rehabilitate and reconstruct taxiway lighting.
