New York State launches Clean Water Infrastructure Asset Management Program in Capital Region

Four communities in the Capital Region have been selected to have their waste-water treatment plants monitored, in hopes of making improvements.

Albany County’s plan, also the plan in the Village of Athens, the Town of East Greenbush and the City of Glens Falls – will all participate in this new state program.

These are 4 of the 27 communities selected.

The state will have teams taking a close look to make improvements where necessary.

The program is called the Clean Water Infrastructure Asset Management Program.
