Niskayuna graduate convicted for role in Jan. 6 Capitol attack

A Niskayuna High School graduate has been found guilty on five counts, related to his participation in the Jan. 6 riots.

Brandon Fellows was found guilty of two felonies and three misdemeanors. A sentencing date has not yet been set.

According to the Times Union, Brandon Fellows was arrested on January 16 in Albany after posting pictures to social media that showed him in the Capitol building.

He was seen with his feet on Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley’s desk and also went to the Crypt, an area below the Capitol’s rotunda.
