Niskayuna shooting under investigation

A shooting in Niskayuna Sunday afternoon is under investigation.

According to police, an individual called them at around 12:40 p.m. Sunday afternoon saying they were being followed, chased, and then shot at in their car by a gunman in another car.

This started on Van Vranken Ave in Schenectady near Maxon Ave Extension & Technology Drive, and then carried over into the town of Niskayuna where at least 2 shots were fired, Schenectady Police said.

The incident is still under investigation.
