No injuries after Pittsfield duplex catches fire

A duplex under renovation caught fire in Berkshire County.

The fire broke out around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon on Montgomery Avenue, in Pittsfield.

Firefighters arrived to find fire on the second floor of the building.

There was $10,000 worth of damage, according to the fire department.

Luckily, no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
