North Adams gymnastics coach arraigned for allegedly videotaping children

A gymnastics coach from North Adams was arraigned Thursday morning in Vermont for allegedly videotaping young female gymnasts while they were changing.
Vermont State Police say 39-year-old Jonathan Girard videotaped minors changing while working as the head coach of Waterbury’s Central Vermont Gymnastics Academy training staff.
Newschannel 13 has confirmed that police executed a raid at the gymnastics academy as part of the investigation. According to our media partners at the Berkshire eagle, it was Girard’s fiancé who discovered the videos on a home computer, and then contacted police.
