Local lawmakers are now asking President Biden to help communities in upstate New York, damaged by severe flash flooding.

Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand are asking the president to approve a major disaster declaration.
This would help areas in the Hudson Valley and communities across upstate New York, including in Albany and Rensselaer Counties.
