NYRA sees rise in Saratoga track handle, attendance

NYRA says on-track handle and attendance at Saratoga Race Course have all gone up this year.

The first weekend since opening for the season, all-sources handle, on-track handle and attendance were all up double digits.

NYRA says people across the country wagered more than $106 million from Thursday through Sunday.

Paid attendance was 103,000 for the first four days of the racing meet – an increase of 10% from last year.
