Philip Rabadi remembered as passionate man who loved family

Philip Louis Rabadi was the Capital Region through and through.

Philip Louis Rabadi was the Capital Region through and through.

He was born in Albany. He went to Guilderland High School, SUNY Albany and Albany Medical College.

He worked at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany as a talented surgical physician assistant. He was extremely passionate about his job.

Philip loved playing guitar and singing. He loved sports, soccer and tennis, but most importantly, golf.

He became a talented woodworker, using his brother’s garage as his wood-working studio.

He was kind, funny, intelligent and in the words of his older brother, “everything was better when Philip was there”.

He married the love of his life, his soulmate, Ellie Radin in September 2021. They both worked together as physician assistants in the same practice.

The couple moved into their home in the town of New Scotland, Albany County and one of Philip’s first projects was to build a chicken coop.

Family was of utmost importance for Philip. He was very close with his parents, dad Shaw and mom Tori, along with his siblings, older brother Brendan and younger sister Lexi.

Philip Rabadi was 35 years old.
