Frament spent a lot of time leading spiritual workshops, friends said.

“Dan was marvelous. He was intelligent, brilliant. He was so learned and he had so many interests in his life, and he could talk of so many subjects and when you were having a conversation with him, you knew he wasn’t just listening to you but he was hearing you,” said neighbor and friend Barbara Boughton.

“He wasn’t just waiting to respond. He was actively listening and then he would provide you with a really thoughtful answer,” she went on to say.
