Organizers of recent Lake George car show donate $10,000 to Kelly’s Angels
The organization that got Lake George all revved up in September, has made a significant donation to charity.
The Adirondack Nationals Car Show brought tens of thousands of people to Lake George.
It’s all about the classic cars and hot rods. It’s put on by Albany Rods & Kustoms. Every year, the Albany-based car club partners with a charity who gets a donation in exchange or provides volunteers to staff the entry gates.
The organization this year was Kelly’s Angels, the local charity that helps kids who’ve lost a parent to cancer or other illness. The charity was started by NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland in honor of his wife, Kelly, who died of cancer.
Albany Rods & Kustoms recently sent Kelly’s Angels a check for $10,000.
