Pair accused of having illegal gun

Two people were arrested in Rensselaer County for allegedly possessing an illegal firearm.

Quon Pringle, 26, of Brunswick, and 31-year-old Khadajah Gross, of Charlotte, North Carolina were arrested during a Gun Involved Violence Elimination detail. They had were possession of the illegal firearm, the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office said.

Pringle was one count of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm. He was on parole at the time of his arrest and has four previous felony convictions – two for weapons violations, police said.

Gross charged with one count of criminal possession of a firearm. Both Pringle and Gross were arraigned in Brunswick Town Court. Pringle was sent without bail to Rensselaer County Jail and Gross was held on $15,000 cash.
