Investigators say Shawn Barnwell, 25, of the Bronx was driving with a suspended license on Thanksgiving evening, when Barnwell crashed on State Route 295, just west of Stony Hill Road.
A passenger, Sarah Kucka, 27, is accused of lying to State Police by claiming she was driving.
Sierra Tassone, 20, was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at Berkshire Medical Center.
Kucka was charged with obstruction of government administration and conspiracy. She is due in court on Dec. 12.
Barnwell was ticketed.
