Pair charged with trying to smuggle drugs into Saratoga County Jail

Police say drugs were given to an inmate at the Saratoga County Jail.
The sheriff’s department says 53-year-old Rondene Brust smuggled drugs to an inmate during a visit on October 10.
She was arraigned, and is expected back in court to face a charge of promoting prison contraband.
She’s accused of passing the drugs to 32-year-old Bryan Brust, an inmate.
The sheriff’s office says they found a separate small stash of drugs in his cell.
