Pair faces drug charges after Moreau traffic stop

Two people were arrested in Moreau, for several drug-related charges.
It happened on June 29.
Officers stopped a vehicle on Spier Falls Road in Moreau, for a traffic violation.
Christopher Wern was driving that vehicle, and Alexa Scott was the passenger, police said.
Wern did not have a valid driver’s license, police said.
Drug paraphernalia was in plain sight, said state police, who also said both people were in possession of controlled substances.
Wern was issued an appearance ticket to Moreau Town Court.
Scott was arraigned and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility.
