The Thruway southbound lanes from Exit 21 in Catskill to Exit 20 in Saugerties will be closed to all traffic from Saturday at 11 p.m. to Sunday at 7 a.m.

Crews will be doing pavement repair work.

Drivers should avoid the area during this time.

All traffic will be diverted off the Thruway for a 23-mile detour to Route 23 West and Route 32 South.

Vehicles will turn left after about 16 miles to reenter the Thruway at Exit 20.

The northbound lanes will stay open.
