Permanent supportive housing project is ongoing

31-and a half million dollars in state money is going to projects to provide permanent housing for people who are homeless.

That includes three and a half million dollars for a project in Schenectady.

DePaul Properties, Inc. will use the money to construct two buildings in the city, creating 30 apartments for people who need a place to live, mainly the elderly and people battling mental illness.
