A man is recovering after a shooting in Shaftsbury on Monday evening.

Police were called to 218 Twitchell Hill Road around 11 p.m. They found two victims, including one who was shot, they said.

The person who was shot, Joseph Maccioli, 33, was flown to Albany Medical Center. He is expected to be OK.

The second victim refused medical attention.

Police think this is an isolated incident. No one has been arrested yet.
