Couple killed in Greene County crash

A couple was killed when their minivan was hit by a truck trying to pass a row of cars.
The crash happened on Route 9W, just after 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
State police say 90-year-old Charles Woullard and his wife, 76-year-old Frances Woullard, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say a 31-year-old man from Hannacroix, a hamlet in Greene County, was driving a Dodge pickup when he crossed into the northbound lane to pass slower traffic and crashed into the minivan.
The driver was taken to Albany Med, and is expected to be okay.
No charges have been filed. Police say the investigation continues.
