Perth woman arrested for criminal possession after crashing car in Ravena

Albany County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Gillian J. Moyer, 32, for criminal possession of a controlled substance after she allegedly crashed her vehicle in the Village of Ravena on Friday, November 3.
Deputies responded to a vehicle crash at around 8:58 p.m. and said they discovered Moyer standing next to the vehicle that she flipped over on Schuyler Ave in Ravena.
After investigation, deputies arrested Moyer for possession of a quantity of cocaine in her purse, said Sheriff Craig Apple.
Moyer was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class A misdemeanor), operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver (infraction), and driving from lane unsafely (infraction), said Albany County Sheriff’s.
The 32-year-old was released by the Sheriff’s office on appearance tickets and is scheduled for arraignment on November 16 in the Town of Coeymans court.
