Pipes ruled possible cause for small sinkhole near Crossgates

The Guilderland highway superintendent believes two pipes could be the culprit for a sinkhole discovered near Crossgates Mall on Monday.
Work crews are still trying to figure out which one.
All lanes of traffic have since reopened – except for the lane where the sinkhole is.
The hole was temporarily filled, and road plates were installed.
