Pittsfield animal adoption center holds open house
The Berkshire Humane Society is celebrating its new name.

The shelter is now the Doctor John Reynolds Adoption and Education Center, in memory of the beloved veterinarian.
Sunday, there is an open house for the public, and all adoption fees will be waived.
It’s from noon until 3 o’clock at the facility on Barker Road in Pittsfield.
There will be live music, food, vendors, and tours of the shelter.
The event is free, but you are encouraged to bring canned or bagged cat or dog food to donate.
