Pittsfield police chief announces 2023 retirement

The chief of police in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is retiring.
Chief Michael Wynn said Tuesday he will step down July 8, 2023.
This marks the close of a nearly 30-year career with the city.
Wynn says this is now the right time for him and his family.
Wynn is working with his command staff to develop an interim transition plan.
