Pittsfield Police picks next leader

Thomas Dawley has been selected to lead the Pittsfield Police Department as interim chief, after Michael Wynn steps down this summer, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.
Dawley is a captain at the department. He will work side by side with Wynn in the coming months to “prepare for the transition,” Pittsfield Mayor Linda Tyer told the Eagle.
Wynn’s last day is July 5.
