Human remains in Pittsfield park identified as Luis Lopez-Lopez.

Pittsfield Police have identified the remains that were found at Wahconah Park last month.

The man has been identified as 43-year-old Luis Lopez-Lopez, whose most recent addresses were in Pittsfield and Greenfield, Mass. He was found on Oct. 10 at about 10:44 a.m. by a city employee who was cutting brush in an area of the park separate from the baseball field.

The cause of death is still pending.
