Pittsfield Police seek gas station robbery suspect
Pittsfield Police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station.
A man walked into Lipton Mart on West Housatonic Street with a handgun, around 7 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The suspect left with cash and other items. He was last seeing heading north on Britton Street, towards the train tracks.
The person is described as a white man, between 5 ft., 8 in. and 5 ft., 10 in. tall. He was wearing gray ripped jeans, black sneakers, blue Patriots short-sleeved hoodie over a red long-sleeved hoodie with white paint stains on both sleeves. He also had on red gloves, white face mask, dark sunglasses, gray hat with oval shape on the front and might have been wearing a fake nose of some type, police said.
People who live or have a business in the area of Barker Road at West Housatonic Street, Britton Street Merriam/South Merriam Street and Catherine Street/Jason Street area near the train tracks are asked to check their surveillance cameras.
