The flushing of the city’s water system started Tuesday.

Water mains will be flushed through hydrants over the next four weeks to remove pipeline corrosion.
Mains will be flushed Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 3 o’ clock.
This may cause your water to appear discolored, or reduce your water pressure, so just let it run a few minutes before you use it.
