Police: Accused bank robber had smoke grenades, body armor in home
Pittsfield Police said they found a number of weapons inside the home of an accused bank robber.
Christopher Oliveri, 51, is accused of robbing the NBT Bank on Merrill Road last November.
Police said it seems like he was prepared to commit a much more violent act. Officers searched his home and found four guns, smoke grenades, body armor and zip ties, according to The Berkshire Eagle, NewsChannel 13’s media partner.
Oliver is charged with armed robbery and kidnapping.
