Police: Albany man arrested in July chase that damaged police vehicle

An Albany man was arrested last week, charged with striking a marked police vehicle on purpose during a chase last July.

Daniel Hammon, 36, allegedly drove the wrong way on I-90 in East Greenbush during the chase.

No one was injured, but there was more than $10,000 worth of damage to the vehicle, according to State Police.

Hammon was sent to the Albany County Jail on charges of reckless endangerment, assault and criminal mischief.
