Police: Amsterdam woman stole credit, debit card numbers to make purchases

Police arrested an Amsterdam woman on Wednesday for allegedly stealing people’s credit card information to make purchases.

Natalie A. Perdomo, 32, is accused of recording the credit and debit card numbers of customers while working at a local business and using them at several locations in the area.

Amsterdam Police were contacted by the owners of these cards on Oct. 10 and Oct. 14. Detectives collected digital evidence and surveillance footage, which led to Perdomo’s arrest.

Perdomo was charged with two counts each of grand larceny, unlawful possession of personal identification information and identity theft. She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance and is due in Amsterdam City Court at a later date.
