Police: Ballston Spa man stole scrap metal from employer
A Ballston Spa man is accused of stealing a large amount of sheet metal from his employer.
Thomas E. Crandall, 29, alleged took more than $3,000 from the company's property on July 5, 2024. Crandall had been an employee of the business since July 2023, State Police said.

He then allegedly sold that material to a scrap yard for cash.
Crandall was charged with felony grand larceny. He was arraigned in Milton Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
