Police: Ballston Spa woman drove drunk with child in vehicle

A Ballston Spa woman is accused of drunken driving with a child under 15 in the vehicle.

Police responded to a crash on Saratoga Road in the town of Ballston just before 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver, 27-year-old Haley A. Czwakiel, was given a test and found to be drunk, investigators said.

Czwakiel was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08% or greater. She was released on appearance tickets and is due in Ballston Town Court at a later date.
