Police: Bennington County man sexually abused two children

A Bennington County man is accused sexually abusing two young children.

Andrew S. White, 39, of Poultney, was charged with aggravated sexual assault, lewd/lascivious conduct with a child and dissemination of indecent materials to a minor.

The arrest stemmed from a report from the Vermont Department for Children and Families, who said the victims were both under the age of 10.

White is scheduled to be arraigned in Rutland Criminal Court on Friday.
