Police charge Albany man with drugged, drunk driving in crash

An Albany man is facing charges for allegedly driving under the influence and crashing his car on Route 7 Wednesday night.

State Police responded to a two-car crash at around 6:15 p.m. on Route 7. Brendon M. Marino, 37, was found unresponsive at the scene and transported to Samaritan Hospital for further evaluation, police said. 

He was charged on Thursday with driving while ability impaired by drugs, driving while intoxicated and vehicle and traffic injuries. He was issued tickets and is due in Colonie Town Court March 11.

No one was hurt, investigators said.
