An 18-year-old is accused of going over 100 mph on the Northway with an infant in the car.

Troopers attempted to stop a driver in Malta at around 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. Police said the driver, whose name was not released because of his age, did not comply and sped away. He eventually was pulled over and arrested.

The driver was charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations.

Two passengers from New York City – 20-year-old Kelsy N. Hillaire and 21-year-old Elijah M. Dade – also were arrested on misdemeanor drug charges.
All three were released on appearance tickets and are due in Malta Town Court on a later date.
