Police: Duanesburg woman drove drunk with child in vehicle

A Duanesburg woman is accused of driving drunk with a child in the vehicle.

State Police responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway on Oct. 17 at about 9:15 p.m. in the area of Mariaville Scotch Church Road in Duanesburg. The driver was identified as 43-year-old Elizabeth A. Taylor. Neither she nor a child in the vehicle under the age of 15 were injured.

She was transported to the State Police station in Princetown, where she refused to provide a sample to determine the alcohol content of her blood, according to a news release.

Taylor was charged with felony DWI. She was then turned over to the Schenectady County Jail. to await arraignment.
