A Glens Falls man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly using a stolen car to steal a tow truck.

State Police said that Dakotah R. McNabb, 19, stole a tow truck from a business on Route 9 in Moreau Tuesday morning. Police also learned that McNabb had driven a vehicle stolen from the city of Glens Falls earlier in the day and left the vehicle parked there before taking the truck.

Glens Falls Police found McNabb driving the tow truck and arrested him.

McNabb was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. He was arraigned in Moreau Town Court and sent without bail to Saratoga County Correctional Facility.

Both vehicles were recovered and will be returned to the rightful owners.

McNabb was previously arrested last year for allegedly stealing a car from a business in Kingsbury. He was later found with the car in the town of Wilton. McNabb was charged with grand larceny and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in that case.
