Police: Halfmoon man assaulted victim with knife

A Saratoga County man is accused of injuring a person with a knife.

Alejandro Garcia, 25, of Halfmoon, allegedly assaulted the victim at a home on Eastwood Drive around 12:20 a.m. on March 30, around 12:20 Tuesday morning.  

The victim, who Garcia knew, was treated at the scene by Clifton Park-Halfmoon EMS and then decided to go to the hospital.

Garcia was charged with second-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.

He was arraigned in Clifton Park Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
