Police: Hudson Falls man borrowed neighbor’s phone, then threatened to kill her

A Hudson Falls man allegedly threatened to kill his neighbor after he became angry after she asked him who he was calling on her phone. Police said Norman Ramsey, 53, asked to borrow the woman's phone. When she asked her question, he went back into his residence and came back with two kitchen knives, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.

Norman Ramsey, 53, asked to borrow the woman’s phone, investigators said. When she asked him who he was calling on her phone, he left and returned with two kitchen knives, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said. He then threatened to stab and kill the victim, according to police.

Ramsey was charged with felony menacing. It was upgraded because he has a previous conviction for the same charge within the last 10 years.
