Police investigate knife attack in South Glens Falls
South Glens Falls Police are investigating a knife attack on a local walking trail.
The incident took place on Thursday between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the Betar Byway near the Water Tower Apartments. The victim was able to fight off the suspect and had only minor injuries, police said.
The victim refused medical treatment.
The motive of the attack is unclear at this time, police said.

Police are reminding the public that the Betar Trail is closed from dusk until dawn, and they are asking people not to walk alone until further notice.
