Restaurant owner Ali Celik says many patrons were relaxing and enjoying dinner Wednesday evening, when they heard a loud bang.
A man approached the statue, and pushed it, but the statue didn’t fall.
He waited for a moment and pushed it again.
That’s when it fell and shattered.
He then causally walked away.
The statue has been with Celik for 16 years.
He says the value of the piece is immeasurable.
