Police: Louisiana man told Berkshire County date he was wanted for murder

A Louisiana man has been arrested in Berkshire County, after telling his date he was wanted for murder.

Wilfred Walker II was arrested in Lenox and is facing an attempted murder charge in Louisiana, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.

Walker was staying at a hotel when he told his date he needed to be “cautious.”

When the person learned of his legal troubles, they called police.

Walker is in custody awaiting extradition.
