A man is facing charges after police said he allegedly posted intimate images of a person on social media.
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office said Josiah Sheldon posted nine still images onto Facebook and Instagram. The arrest followed a complaint sheriff’s deputies received on Oct. 1 just before midnight at a residence in the village of Voorheesville.
Sheldon turned himself in on Monday. He has been charged with unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image.
Sheldon was arraigned in New Scotland Town Court and released on his own recognizance. An order of protection was issued to the victim.
